Cleaners, engineers, grounds staff and the office that plans their week. Early starts, buildings that are empty when you arrive, and a record of your work that somebody actually reads.
What the work is
A cleaning round is an area schedule, a standard for each area and a sheet signed at the end. An engineer's day is a planner, a set of readings and a report. Grounds work follows the season. None of it is glamorous and all of it is checkable.
We plan the week before it starts, and we would rather move a job than improvise one. Anyone on an Aintrees job can stop work when the conditions or the equipment are not what the method said they would be, and nobody is marked down for it.

What a listing will state
When a role opens, its entry will state all of the following before anyone is asked to apply.
- The buildings the role covers and where the base is
- The hours and the pattern, including any early, late or weekend work
- Whether it is permanent, part-time or relief
- Any check the role requires, and who pays for it
- The rate or salary band, in figures
- Who the role reports to and who plans the week
